Our performance:
The SuedLink underground cable link is the world's largest underground cable project for the energy transition and is intended to transport wind power from northern Germany to Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. DMT Engineering Surveying is responsible for central services in the area of rights acquisition and land management for an approx. 138 km long route in two planning sections. Both planning sections fall under the responsibility of TransnetBW.

With approximately $15 billion in revenue (2018) and over 52,000 employees (2020), Jacobs serves the full spectrum of scientific and technical civil engineering project management for corporate, industrial, government and infrastructure sectors. The subsidiary Jacobs U.K. Limited is providing programme management for the SuedLink infrastructure project.
Oberweser pipeline, approx. 140 km long brine pipeline with 2,400 affected plots of land
Our performance:
DMT Engineering Surveying was commissioned to conduct the legal acquisition negotiations for the planned new construction of an approx. 140 km long brine pipeline, the accompanying right of way incl. land damage regulation, the preparation of legal acquisition and overview plans. Around 2400 plots were affected. As part of this, a manual for the acquisition of rights was also prepared for the customer and an online application for visualising the exact negotiation status of the plots was introduced.
